A Guide to Fflipp's Flipbook Community Features: Comments & Likes

A document is more than just static pages; it's a conversation waiting to happen. With Fflipp, we've built powerful community features directly into the viewer to help you connect with creators and share your thoughts on the content you love.

This quick guide will show you exactly how to use the **Commenting** and **Liking** features, which are available to all logged-in Fflipp users.

How to Like a Flipbook ❤️

Showing your appreciation for a creator's work is simple. The "Like" button helps great content get discovered and lets the creator know you enjoyed their flipbook.

1. While viewing a flipbook, locate the heart icon in the control bar at the bottom of the screen.
2. Simply click the heart icon. It will fill in, and the flipbook's like count will increase.
3. Clicking it again will "unlike" the flipbook. It's that easy!

Pro Tip: When you like a public flipbook, it's added to the "My Liked & Recommended" section on your own public Fflipp-rack, helping you share great content with your own followers.

What happens when you click "Like"?

A lightbox will appear showing you a list of all the other users who have also liked the flipbook. It's a great way to see who else is part of the community. You can then choose to "Like" or "Unlike" the flipbook from within this pop-up.

How to Add a Comment 💬

Have a question for the creator? Want to share your feedback or start a discussion? The comments sidebar turns any flipbook into a dynamic conversation.

• Step 1: Open the Comments Sidebar. In the viewer's control bar, click the speech bubble icon to slide out the comments panel.
• Step 2: Write Your Comment. At the bottom of the panel, you'll find a text box. Type your message (up to 150 characters).
• Step 3: Post Your Comment. Click the "Post" button. Your comment will instantly appear in the list for everyone to see.

Replying to a Comment

You can also reply directly to other users' comments to create a threaded conversation. If you are the author of the post (or a site admin), you will see a "Reply" button under each comment. Clicking it will allow you to post a direct response.
