Make Your Mark: Introducing Private Annotations for All Users

Are you ready to interact with your content like never before? We're thrilled to announce a brand-new feature that is now LIVE for all logged-in Fflipp users: the Annotation Tool!

Stop just reading and start truly engaging with your documents. Whether you're a student highlighting key points for an exam, a designer providing visual feedback on a draft, or a reader making personal notes in the margins, you can now draw, write, and mark up any page directly on Fflipp flipbooks.

This powerful new tool is your personal set of digital markers, saved securely to your account.

How to Use the Annotation Tool

We designed the annotation feature to be incredibly simple and intuitive. Here’s how you can get started in just a few clicks:

  1. Open Any Flipbook: Log in to your account and open any flipbook you have access to.
  2. Enter Annotation Mode: Click the pencil icon ✏️ on the bottom control bar. This will open the new annotation toolbar.
  3. Choose Your Tools: Select the pen or eraser, choose your color (Red, Blue, or Black), and pick a line thickness.
  4. Make Your Mark: Draw, circle, underline, or write notes directly on the flipbook page.
  5. Save Your Work: Click the "Save" icon to store your annotations securely.

Your Notes, Private and Secure πŸ”

Your privacy is paramount. All annotations you create are saved privately to your own account. No one else, not even the flipbook's creator, can see your personal notes. They are for your eyes only.

Access Your Notes, Anywhere

Because your annotations are tied to your Fflipp account, you can access them on any device. Start making notes on your desktop computer πŸ’», then open the same flipbook on your tablet πŸ“±, and your markings will be right there waiting for you.

Who is This Feature For? Everyone!

This is a universal tool designed to make your reading experience more active and productive. Here are just a few ideas:

  • Students: Highlight important passages in digital textbooks, circle key diagrams, and jot down study notes right next to the content. πŸ“š
  • Designers & Collaborators: Quickly provide visual feedback on a design proof or manuscript by circling areas that need changes. 🎨
  • Professionals: Mark up reports or proposals with your private thoughts and key takeaways before a big meeting.
  • Casual Readers: Simply make a note of your favorite parts of a magazine or photo album. πŸ“

This feature is now available to all registered Fflipp users, including those on the Free plan. Log in to your account today and make your mark!
